What is this Site
The Engine Room is the engineering record of Plutus — the sister of the Grade My Investments Technology Observatory, for a system that is private by design.
Purpose
GMI's Observatory exists because a grade you cannot audit is a grade you should not trust, so the platform publishes how it is built. Plutus inherits the discipline for a different reason: the system is one person's, and the person is learning from it. Writing down how each piece works, and what it got wrong first, is how the architecture stays honest when nobody else is reading.
So this site is a build record more than a brochure. The numbers are the ones the machine printed. Where a gate failed before it passed, the failure is on the page.

Where the words come from
Every page here is a condensation of a design document in the repository — twenty-nine of them at the time of writing, each with a Word twin. The documents are the source of truth; a page that disagrees with its document is wrong. Diagrams are the same Mermaid sources, rendered once and committed, so they match the docs to the pixel.
The site is server-rendered Blazor — plain HTML, no WebAssembly payload, every link in the page for anyone who reads without JavaScript. The sidebar accordion is the only script.
